FlashSeal is an elastomeric sealant that is specially formulated for permanent adhesion to shingles, aluminum flashing, and brick. Unlike conventional tar- based sealers, FlashSeal remains permanently flexible, and will not become hard/brittle and crack away from surfaces.
HOW TO:
1. Duct tape off the upper and lower breakpoints of repair. 2. Brush the coating on to about 1/8” thickness. 3. Install pre-cut fabric to within 1” of the edges of the repair and embed the fabric into the sealant using the brush 4. Apply a liberal coat of topcoat sealant over the fabric and start working in 2-3’ sections 5. Start at the lowest side of the base of the chimney, followed by the sides, and then the top

CrownSaver is a blend of dry hydraulic cements and powdered water repellents that can be used to repair severely deteriorated chimney crowns, making a permanently water repellent new crown surface.
Ideally Suited for projects where the chimney crown is severly deteriorated
HOW TO: 1. Apply a bead of silicone around the flue tile to form an expansion joint. 2. Duct tape off the upper and lower breakpoints of repair. 3. When the silicone is slightly hard, apply the Formfoil in a shingle fashion (if you are using it) and silicone the top edge to the flue liner.
4. Dampen the surface. 5. Trowel CrownSaver. 6. Smooth the surface with a damp brush. 7. Remove the duct tape.
TIPS: Coverage = 100-150 sq. ft. Application: Do not apply if temperatures drop below 45 degrees within 4 hours. Apply two liberal coats of CrownPrep wet-on-wet to the entire crown with a paint brush. Dry Time : No drying time needed. Crown can be coated with either CrownSeal or CrownCoat within minutes after applying CrownPrep.
