HELPFUL HINT! When converting a Round to Oval Liner consider these steps to generate an accurate size: 1- Find the required round size liner for your appliance. 2- Measure the flue size the oval liner needs to fit in (Interior L x W). 3- Use the chart on page 163 and example (below) to find an oval size that fits in the measured flue. 4- Make sure this size is equal to or greater than the Square Inch value of the required round liner size of the appliance.
EXAMPLE: An 8” ROUND Liner has an area of 50.25 Square Inches. When ovalized down to 6” it will be an OVAL with a 6” Short/ Minor Axis and 10.3” Long/ Major Axis with an area of 45.32 Square Inches.
