AFTER PCD
BEFORE PCD
PCD (Plaster Creosote Dissolver) is a powder that is mixed with water designed to remove dangerous 3rd degree, glazed creosote from clay flue liners, stainless steel flue liners, and masonry smoke chambers. PCD breaks down the creosote, allowing the creosote to be removed by conventional or rotary cleaning. PCD typically requires 24 – 48 hours to dry in the flue and smoke chamber. PCD is typically used in extreme cases when conventional sweeping will not remove the glazed creosote. Apply using our custom foam applicators made to your flue measurements. See custom form on pg. 167
